Cisco WebEx Meetings is a program for online meetings that is very comprehensive and easy to use.
It has every feature that other similar programs have, but also, it has many benefits and unique characteristics. It allows you connecting with other devices, thus giving you a better remote experience in your meetings, creating spaces to interact with the persons you want, creating whiteboards before or during your calls, or export them in PFD format to share them with your colleagues.
The program’s options are well organized, the risk of losing your messages, your call history or your whiteboards is zero, since they are stored in the program itself, and you can change its settings from the program’s interface.
It also has a feature VidCast with which you can watch, record or find videos. It includes customized recommendations, recording options and its own help chat.
Meetings have also many features. For example, you can leave a meeting, recording it easily and store it in your device. Also, your call remains active even when you use other programs or areas of your device simultaneously; in those cases, the program appears on a thumbnail screen that you can move around your screen. Also, you can manually generate captions for your meetings.
A disadvantage is that some features are limited to the Premium version, such as phone calls to your WebEx contacts. Also, the meetings are limited to 40 minutes, and you can only meet with a limited amount of callers and you can’t create captions automatically. Another disadvantage is that the Premium version is subscription-based and it is not very affordable.
Other than that, WebEx is a good option for your online meetings and it has its own QR code so you can install the program in your mobile devices.
